Alcoba was born out of a deep passion for (vintage) tractors, a background in the metalworking industry, and a bit of serendipity. We like to call it turning your hobby into your work. High-quality materials, craftsmanship, and perfectionism drive us to create a beautiful product tailored to your specific needs as a customer.

After years of working in the metal industry, the desire to start my own business grew stronger and stronger within me (Arjan). Having grown up in a family where my father was a businessman through and through, I too saw the benefits of being my own boss.
I started assembling simple yet high-quality exhaust pipes in the evenings. I sold them via Facebook, in small batches and exclusively on order. By promoting the ads on Facebook through paid advertising, our reach kept expanding. Starting with customers exclusively from the immediate area, Alcoba grew into a company with international sales. Today, 90% of our customer base consists of individuals and businesses from all over Europe. And even outside of Europe, people know where to find us.
As our customer base expanded and our order book grew, it became increasingly clear: I want to—and need to—invest more time in this to keep growing. So, step by step, I phased out my work for an employer and expanded Alcoba. Eventually, a few years ago, I left my employer entirely. I focused more and more on expanding my product range. As a result, demand for our products also increased. It soon became clear that I couldn’t do this alone. My wife Sarah, who had been a working partner in my business for years, became my business partner. She, too, quit her job, and together we’ve been focusing ever since on growing our own wonderful and ever-expanding business!
